Sathyam Warehouse Phase-2 at Sholavaram, Chennai

Area of Building: 55000 Sft

Value of project: Rs.6 crores

Featured here is a turnkey project which was designed and executed by AEC. We handled civil as well as PEB roof work. Totally there are three warehouses in the same plot. This was phase-2. Area of the warehouse is approx 55000 sq.ft with a 50 meter roof span. RCC vaccuum dewatered flooring of 150mm thickness was provided with adequate reinforcement to handle wear and tear. Side masonry walls were raised to 2.5 meters from floor level with galvalume sheet cladding above up to roof level. Galvalume sheet was provided in roof also with adequate numbers of roof vent and FG sheets to let in sunlight into the building.

Warehouse for M/S Grace Supermarket at Noombal, Chennai

Area of Building: 60000 Sft

Value of project: Rs.6 crores

Featured here is a turn key project ( design & execution) for construction of a central warehouse for M/S Grace Supermarket chain in Chennai. Its a G+1 RCC framed structure of about 60000 sft plinth area. Ground floor is fully utilized as a warehouse. First floor houses their central admin office in front, sorting and packaging area in middle and a modern bakery at the rear. Internal columns were spaced wide apart (26 feet c/c) to enable free movement of goods inside. Rof height is 15 feet to provide adequate vertical space for maximising storage. Vaccuum dewatered RCC flooring was done in GF to withstand wear & tear during goods movement.
