AEC Akshaya Residential cum commercial

Project Description:

This is a Stilt + 3 floors residential-cum-commercial redevelopment project, located in the heart of Nanganallur, Chennai, comprising 6 finely designed apartments. The total built-up area is approximately 6,500 sq.ft.

The redevelopment was initiated by the property owner to maximize the site’s potential by transforming an individual residence into a modern apartment complex. To achieve this, the owner partnered with Associated Engineering Concerns (AEC) for a joint development model, allowing them to retain a share in the newly developed property without the financial investment or construction management responsibilities typically involved in such projects.

A defining feature of this project is the sensitive integration of built form with the site’s natural landscape. Particular care was taken to preserve the mature coconut and mango trees, with the building’s design carefully tailored to blend seamlessly into the existing greenery.

The project was designed by M/s CTC Designers, Chennai, and reflects a harmonious blend of functionality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal.
